Be Well My Body LLC

Please read the following Terms and Agreements carefully before accessing or participating in any offerings provided by Shannon Hershman, founder of Be Well My Body LLC. By purchasing, registering for, or participating in any service, course, or class, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Services Covered

These Terms apply to the following services provided by Be Well My Body LLC:

  • On-Demand Classes – including Pilates for Longevity
  • Pre-Recorded Courses – including, but not limited to: The Complete Wellness Bundle, Foam Rolling Mastery Bundle, Joint Mobility 101, Foam Rolling Level 1, Foam Rolling Level 2, Stretching, and Postpartum Recovery
  • Private Lessons (In-Person and Virtual) – including Pilates, Mobility Work, Fascia Stretch Therapy™, CranioSacral Therapy, Yamuna® Body Rolling & Foot Fitness, Be Well My Body Foam Rolling, Restorative Stretching, Reiki, Tuning Fork Sound Therapy, Quantum Energy Healing, and Dance
  • Private Consultations (In-Person and Virtual) – including the Pain-Free Living Bundle and Pain-Free Living Consultations

 

2. Access Terms

  • On-demand classes and digital courses are provided with "lifetime access," defined as access for the duration that Be Well My Body LLC continues to maintain and host the content on the current platform. If the platform changes or the business ceases operation, access may be discontinued.
  • Private session packages (3- or 10-session bundles) expire within the timeframe stated at purchase. Extensions are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of Be Well My Body LLC.

 

3. Payment & Refunds

  • All payments are due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise specified.
  • Digital products (on-demand classes, courses, and memberships) are non-refundable due to the immediate access provided. Except where prohibited by law, all sales are final.
  • Private virtual lessons may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions without notice will be forfeited.

 

4. Health Disclaimer

  • Be Well My Body LLC does not provide medical advice. The services offered are educational and wellness-based in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical evaluation or treatment.
  • Participants should consult with their physician before starting any new movement, bodywork, or wellness program, especially if pregnant, recently postpartum, or living with a medical condition or injury.

 

5. Waiver of Liability

By participating in any service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You expressly assume all risks associated with participation in the services provided.
  • You expressly waive, release, and discharge Be Well My Body LLC, its owner (Shannon Hershman), employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law.
  • This waiver covers the normal risks of movement, bodywork, and wellness services. However, it does not apply in situations where Illinois law does not allow a waiver — such as cases of extreme negligence or intentional misconduct.
  • You are solely responsible for your health and well-being and agree to stop any activity that causes discomfort or pain and seek appropriate medical attention if necessary.
  • If services are purchased or used on behalf of a minor, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent, and by doing so, assumes all responsibility for the minor’s participation. Minors under the age of 18 may only participate in services with the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

 

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided, including videos, downloadable materials, and live sessions, is the intellectual property of Be Well My Body LLC. Reproduction, distribution, or resale without written permission is strictly prohibited.

 

7. Community Conduct

  • Respectful behavior is expected in all community forums, live classes, and direct communication. Any harassment, inappropriate conduct, or misuse of the platform will result in immediate termination of access without refund.

 

8. Modifications

Be Well My Body LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of services indicates agreement to the updated terms.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your participation, or services provided shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If resolution is not achieved, the matter shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of Illinois under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs, and the arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. NOTICE: By agreeing to arbitration, you are waiving your right to bring claims in court or to a jury trial. Arbitration shall take place in DuPage, Illinois, unless both parties agree otherwise.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, where Be Well My Body LLC is registered.
