If the dancer or youth athlete in your life has aches, pain, or tight muscles, this session teaches them how to identify and release areas of tension that often lead to discomfort or injury. They’ll learn hands-on myofascial release and foam rolling techniques to loosen muscle knots, relieve pain, and restore healthy movement.

Many injuries stem from restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding the muscles. When these areas are tight or stuck, they can cause pain, stiffness, or limited range of motion. Through guided instruction, dancers and athletes learn how to perform fascia release safely to improve recovery, body awareness, and performance.

This is something every dancer and youth athlete should know how to do—an essential self-care and injury-prevention technique to include in their wellness toolkit. Learning how to release muscle tension and fascia tightness not only supports recovery but also improves flexibility, mobility, and longevity in their sport or art.

This session empowers participants with lifelong skills for:

  • Pain relief and recovery after training or performance
  • Preventing injuries through regular muscle and fascia release
  • Recognizing and addressing tight muscles and knots early
  • Maintaining flexibility and freedom of movement

Each athlete will need a foam roller, tennis ball, and golf ball (or substitutions such as a lacrosse ball).

By learning how to release tension at its source, dancers and athletes can move with greater ease, feel better in their bodies, and perform at their best—both now and long-term.

Choose from either a single session or a three pack (see below). Sessions are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Hours vary. You can schedule now or later through your account.
